In 2020, a new winery was built incorporating the latest trends and technologies, ensuring that GRW wines are of the highest quality.

The winery, located in Kvareli, Kakheti region, has a total capacity of 2 million bottles of wine per year.

Founded in 2011 by Revaz Karalashvili and Gia Kuprishvili, the company is rooted in a winemaking tradition spanning five generations of the Karalashvili family.

Wine enthusiasts will appreciate the diverse range of wines and the blend of traditional winemaking methods with new technologies in every bottle of GRW.
220 Hectares Of Vineyard Area
The Kakheti Valley is renowned for its unique terroir, diverse soils, and climate, cultivating a wide variety of grapevines including Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, Kisi, and others. The Racha region, with only about 1,600 hectares of vineyards, is known for its rare grape varieties, resulting in exceptionally deep wines.
Interesting Facts

GRW Premium wines undergo a triple quality control system: laboratory tests at the factory, when exported from Georgia and in Russia at Customs (obtaining certificates and declarations).

Georgia is the world’s cradle of winemaking. During excavations in Georgia, the ancient city of Colchis was discovered, and in the layers of rock from the 7th century BC – fragments of surviving vessels with chemical elements of wine.

One of the oldest methods of making wine in Georgia, in qvevri, is included in the list of UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.

Georgian wines are supplied to 80 countries around the world. In 2020, the country exported 125 million bottles, of which 85 million went to major importers such as Russia and the CIS countries. The remaining 40 million bottles were distributed around the world, with the bulk of the shipments going to EU countries. This suggests that the conquest of world markets and recognition of Georgian wine is steadily growing around the world.
